Setting up PostgreSQL

Overview

The below steps can be taken to set up your PostgreSQL account within a Redbird Data Warehouse configuration.

PostgreSQL

1. Input the login credentials. These credentials will be the same username and password used to log into the PostgreSQL platform.
2. Input the Host - In order to connect to an an AWS PostgreSQL database via 3rd party, the user must provide the "Host" that the database is stored. To read more on the syntax and where to find the hostname, you can reference this guide on Amazon.
3. Input the Database - The final piece needed to connect to the database is the "Database Name". The same Amazon guide can help to locate the database name.
4. Click Done to return to the previous screen.
