Introduction
Once a workflow produces something worth sharing — a fresh dataset, a finished presentation — Redbird can deliver it where your audience already looks, automatically. Sharing is a step in the workflow itself: set it up once, and every run sends out the latest version of the connected outputs, so the people who depend on your results always have the current numbers without asking for them.
As with everything in Redbird, the primary way to add a sharing step is to ask Autopilot — describe the destination ("email this presentation to the team", "push this dataset to our S3 bucket"), or choose Push or export the data when Autopilot asks what to do next after a data step. Autopilot adds the right output step to your workflow and walks you through any details it needs.
There are three ways to share, each covered in detail in its own guide:
- Send Email — automatically email datasets and presentations to one or more recipients, as attachments or download links, with the latest version sent on every workflow run.
- Pushing to Cloud Storage — drop outputs into cloud storage services such as Amazon S3, Google Drive, Google Cloud Storage, SharePoint, or FTP, with datasets exported as CSV files and presentations as PPT files.
- Pushing to a Data Warehouse — load processed data into warehouses including Snowflake, Google BigQuery, Amazon Redshift, Databricks, AWS PostgreSQL, and Azure SQL.
